Clearwater Lake Tours – Wells Gray Provincial Park
Come explore incredible Wells Gray Provincial Park your way. Offering guided canoe and kayak trips, overnight trips, motorized boat tours, water taxi, canoe and kayak rentals, along with camping equipment rentals and fishing gear. We make it possible for you to enjoy the trip of a lifetime in pristine Wells Gray Provincial Park.
Located in the Southern Interior of British Columbia, Canada, Wells Gray Provincial Park is the third largest park in the province and offers some of the most spectacular scenery in the world. This marine wilderness park has well maintained campgrounds, many with beautiful sand beaches and swimming in the clean and refreshing glacier-fed lakes.
Clearwater Lake Tours has been in business for over 30 years and has upheld an impeccable safety record. The business is located by the Clearwater Lake Campground which is at the southern end of Clearwater Lake, a glacial fed lake that remains cold year-round. The other is Azure Lake, located north of Clearwater Lake and joined by the Azure River, making it accessible by boat or portage from Clearwater Lake.
Dense Interior rainforest lines the shores of the lakes making it more difficult to view the many species of wildlife. If you slow down to nature’s speed, or your timing is good, you may see bear, moose, deer, Pine Martin and squirrels. Caribou and deer are sometimes spotted swimming across the lakes. Many varieties of bird life flourish around the lakes such as loons, mergansers and other fishing waterfowl such as bald eagles and ospreys, to mention a few.
Our office, café and art gallery are located at the Clearwater Lake Campground, 68 km from Highway 5 on the Clearwater Valley Road. Your adventure awaits!
